Even AA has more than its share of toxic hateful people. Not for everyone.

Alcoholics Anonymous is not the perfect one size fits all for everyone who struggles with alcohol & drugs.
Although I agree with some of the principles like the attitude of Gratitude, there exists within the halls of the 12 step program the following:

Amoral types
Negative attitudes especially towards people who are attending the meeting for the first time,
Rude people
Sarcastic people
People who for whatever reason use the halls of AA to "scope out" people for sex in other words
CRUISING.  Yes it exists! Your trying to get better & these people are TROLLING for their trick, or a possible lover.
Abuse
Inappropriate behavior i.e. people making out at a meeting, people who put their hands on you without asking first.  An example I'm at a meeting, I'm not doing too well when all of a sudden this guy puts both of his hands on my shoulder whispering in my ear.
I was so stunned, surprised, I wished I had punched him.
People of the A.A. cult are notorious for this kind of behavior.  What next two people fucking on the table?
I went to A.A. meeting in the late 80's I hated it. Why? I just didn't get any kind
The cult is RACIST! I must have called at least over 50-60 people NONE of them could be bothered.
I was often asked in a rather innocent way the following:

"Have you tried the meeting at 23rd & Cherry"?  Meaning that it is the only predominantly black meeting in town.
I should have said "Motherfucker don't worry about me attending 23rd & Cherry, just because I'm African American doesn't necessarily mean that all I want to do is hang with African Americans you dumb ass bigoted ASSHOLE!
Charlie Sheen is right about one thing in AA THEY ARE STUPID.  As crazy as he is and sick and although I feel that he was wrong to drop all of that support that I would have given my right arm for,he was right about the stupidity that runs rampant in those 12 step halls.
AA is so full of contradictions that it isn't even funny.
Let us love you until you love yourself.
Well my question is "Where in the fuck is the love"? that the 12 steppers always talk about.
I sure as hell didn't FEEL THE LOVE IN THE AA HALLS.
Oh wait there was love but it was ONLY FOR THE OLD TIMERS those Gods or Goddesses who had 20+ years these people are put on a real HIGH pedestal while the lower masses are on their knees.
Yeah, THOSE people or old timers as they are referred to are treated like Rock Stars.
If you like being treated unfair
If you like being ignored
If you like being treated like shit
If you like people attacking your character
If you like being humiliated
If you like being picked on
If you like bullies
Then Alcoholics Anonymous might be for you.
Personally these ignorant, ulterior motive motherfuckers ARE NOT MY CUP OF TEA.
Look for more blogs.
I'm out.
